  • Children’s camping is given priority/special attention

    Dr. Zoltán Guller, President of the Hungarian National Foundation for Recreation (Advisory Board) has been appointed as Ministerial Commissioner by Zoltán Balog, Minister of Human Capacities. The new commissioner’s task is going to be the elaboration of the National Camping Concept as well as specifying the development trends of the Erzsébet Program. The appointment is effective from 1 October 2014 to 31 March 2015.

  • Recent international appreciation for Hungary’s social tourism program

    After being awarded by the European Large Families Confederation (ELFAC), Erzsébet Program has got another recognition in October. The General Assembly of International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO) appointed Dr. Andrea Pinter, director of Legal and International Affairs of HNFR, as a member of Board of Directors for a four-year period.

  • International award to Erzsébet Program

    The Hungarian government was honoured by receiving the annual award of the European Large Families Confederation (ELFAC) for creating and implementing the Erzsébet Program. The prize was taken over by Secretary of State for Family and Youth Affairs Katalin Novák on the VII Conference of ELFAC, held on 19-20 September in Cascais, Portugal.
